Morocco (FETP)

Launched in 2010, the Morocco Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) is committed to building national epidemiologic capacity by strengthening data analysis, interpreting surveillance data, improving outbreak investigation, and evaluating disease burden through morbidity and mortality reporting. Graduates of the program are fully integrated into the public health system across national, regional, and provincial levels within the Ministry of Health, contributing evidence-based insights for both national and international projects. The program is accredited by TEPHINET, the global FETP network, and is hosted by the National School of Public Health. EMPHNET supports the program through training, research facilitation, and regional capacity-building efforts, including border health, forecasting disease spread, and strengthening points of entry.
